A Good story as it progresses to the climax/crises. The conclusion answers all questions but I would have enjoyed some successive scenes showing the conclusion.
Both main characters were likeable & enjoyable. The scene of the guys eating all the food was funny.

This is a sweet contemporary romance, very enjoyable. It moved along nicely. The characters were well developed. The only problem was the ending seemed rushed, not as complete as the rest of the story. I just wanted it to be more developed with more detail. I do recommend this author and I'm sure I'll read more books from this series.

I really enjoyed the characters and their personalities. I would love to read more of their story. Especially Maggie's history.
I loved that other Texas Titans and Park City Fire Fighters were involved and felt like this book connected the two well.

I really liked the first 70% of the book, but then the pace changed and I felt like I was on a race to the finish. The scenes were shorter, the characters fewer, the conflicts and resolutions rushed. I gladly would have read another 25-50 pages so I could see the developments the author only explained to us-- and minimally at that. I still loved the rest of the book and I can't wait to read Pineapple's story, but the rushed end almost cheapened the expected impact of the changes in the characters' lives.
